removal of front pipe help

I tried to install my new front pipe, the read bolts were easy to access. However, with just jack stands I had to give up on removing the 2 bolts near the cat. The problem is, the way it's angled I couldn't fit in my socket, so I tried to use a wrench to no success.

Any tips on how to remove the bolts near the cat so I can install my new front pipe would be great

thanks

Bring a pair of hands. Beers and pizza also

Use two wrenches. Also helps to be on a lift for the front pipe.

yeah just use a cheater bar, the front 2 bolts are studs, so no need to grab on to the back end.

i sprayed pb blaster on the bolts first and then used a wrench with a rubber mallet.

Attempted two will happen today. I also sprayed with PB blaster yesterday so hopefully nice and ready to come lose

Wd40 and a mallet did the trick for me. It did give me issues though.

Ok guys I got it off. Then installed my berk catless testpipe. I'm hoping I didnt tighten something and I have an exhaust leak. Because with just the berk frontpipe I have major drone!! It gives me q headache and sounds terrible.

Do catless front pipes alone create major drone and noise? Or do I have a leak?

yeah the front cat is a huge noise canceler. but if your running stock everything else, it shouldn't be that loud. Maybe your ears are just really use to the whisper quiet full stock set up.

I didnt have it clamped down enough from the testpipe to the stock exhaust. Its still much louder then expected
