Wheel lock install question

I'm a novice on anything wheel related. I bought wheel locks (always had them on other cars). To install, can I just take out the one lug nut and install the lock? Or do I need to completely do up all of them in a star pattern?

If I can do just the one, does it need to be jacked up off the ground

loosen one lug
raise the car
remove loose lug
hand-tighten wheel lock
lower car
torque wheel lock to spec (i think it was 89 lb.-ft.)

I'll get a torque wrench then. Any suggestions on a good brand that's fairly inexpensive?

You don't even need to jack the car up. The lug nuts used on these cars are tapered, they won't let the wheel move at all. I've swapped one lug nut at a time so many times it's not funny. Just make sure you torque it and check the others.

I wouldn't bother with a Harbor Freight torque wrench. I honestly think you'd be no worse off with any old pry bar. If you want to make sure your lugs are torque to spec, get a better torque wrench, otherwise just do it by hand.

Got a torque wrench, did what BRG said, minus jacking up car.
