Turn Signal in OEM DRL/HiBeam?
 

I've got an idea, but I'm not too sure it would work.

Do you think it'd be possible to buy an amber bulb/led, and replace the DRL/HiBeam in the OEM headlight with it, run a wire from it down to the turn signal, and splice it in?

Therefore creating a turn signal in the headlight. Obviously this would be for a non Monogram/10Series/RS1.0 FRS.

I think it'd be possible, but then you lose your high beams, but it will make your car even more unique

Would be nice to have that in a swichback setup. I use LED DRLs and their hi-beam function is already gone. If it mirrored the switchback behavior down on the lower running lights/turns, that would be so dope.

(dumb question) is there a thread somewhere or discussion that shows a picture of the front of the car, that points out what the stock function of each lamp is, and where it's located... for all the variants of the twins over time?

For stock standard editions, and also the Monogram/10Series/RS1.0 FRS.

And if the locations have changed over time, or some countries have additional markers or lamps, pointing those out as well.

why not just convert to BRZ headlights? oem quality, turn signal in the same place, oem xenons, led drl integrated already.

My current headlights are Bi-Xenon, LED DRL, Sequential Turn Signals, but I'm just trying to do something with OEM FRS lights. I love BRZ lights, but for how expensive they are..I'll pass.
