Which oil weight for warmer climates

I'm about to change my oil, and Summer is coming here in NC, so wondered if I should go to something heavier than 0W20. Any comments?

If you don't track your car with forced induction 0w20 should be fine.

stick to the suggested manufacturer's weight and specs if you haven't significantly modified your vehicle. Ambient temps have little bearing on what goes on inside your engine, where temperatures operate around 190-220F

Check your owners manual

^ That

0/5/10w30 oil will lower your gas mileage a little and it's commonly used for tracked cars (hot weather and high sustained RPMs)
