Any negotiations on MSRP prices ?

Guys,

On the BRZes you have purchased. Were you able to get a price lower than MSRP on any of them ? I know about Scions pure price BS...but apparently they also are negotiable on it.

What is the best price you guys have gotten a BRZ premium for ?

Kimsey47 06-11-2012 06:16 PM

MSRP, they were not going to negotiate because they know they can get the next guy in line to pay it!

saadkhan07 06-11-2012 06:26 PM

Not even a cent less huh ? I want to pay MSRP+TAX, thats all. I think the doc fee is beyond bogus

IIRC there's one guy on here that got under MSRP, but that's because he got the deal solidified before pre-orders were even being taken, everyone else is paying MSRP or more (don't know why anyone would pay more). IMO you're not going to get one under MSRP until at the very earliest next year unless you have some connections with Subaru.

:word:Yeah, that was all I had... They did not charge me a doc fee or anything else! The only price that I was able to work on was my trade-in.

I got about $60 under with no doc fee as it was adjusted in the cost. You could say I got it for 460 under MSRP if you look at it that way! :) Course it hasn't shown up yet, but I do have a signed delivery sheet showing that price. :)

A few of us in Tampa are getting our BRZ under MSRP,but it was cut off at three people, and I was fortunate to be third.

I didn't even try, haha. I was just happy not to be charged $1k over MSRP like my friend.

I was happy with MSRP lol with the way things are in the south.

That's my thinking as well. I was just happy to pay MSRP for it without getting hit with mark-ups. If you are willing to take a chance on not getting one this year go for it and negotiate.

I got mine for under MSRP and I didn't even have to ask for it...

$9 to be exact, because the dealer transposed two numbers on the paperwork and never caught it.

Turbowned 06-12-2012 07:36 AM

Oddly enough I think I'm getting it for $15 under what it lists on Subaru's site... $28,265 vs. $28,280... That'll be enough to cover the gas to get to the dealership from where I live ;)

No negations here...MSRP + TAX + Plates. Very good dealership. I asked them if they do dealer markups and his response was "we don't do that stuff here". Breath of fresh air.

For some one us, yes. For most, no.

Just don't pay over retail.
