Locked out no power in Keyless Entry

solved: So I just got back from a business trip and my brz has been sitting in the garage most of the winter with the occasional drive and warm ups. I went to go get in it today since I got back and it's like 25 degrees to warm it up a bit and the door was locked. Keyless entry wasn't working on either of my remote starts. The window is slightly down as well on the driver side"the little gap that slides up and down when the door gets open/closed".So Im just like completely locked out with no clue what happened or where to even start. Anybody hear of this/any suggestions?

13' limited 13,500 miles

-Thanks

Matt

Keyhole? And check the car battery?

Use they key!

Press the slight detent along the side of the key fob and pull out the "emergency key". This will get you into the driver's side door or the trunk if you wish to crawl through. After that try to charge the battery. I hope this helps!

I thought the keyhole was just for decoration?

Oh wow I didn't realize the key was in the remote start like that, I felt like a dumbass for asking but that helped a lot lol. I'm sure it's just the battery but even still the remote start typically works. I'll give it a try, Thanks!

Yeah I actually think I found the culprit. My window wasn't sealing shut so I guess that was enough to drain the battery, I had to put it the whole way down and back up before it sealed. The cold does funny things. But yeah I knew the car had keyholes I just didn't realize that's where the key was lol.
