Top hat spacers to reduce NVH?

I have a set of coilovers. Would top hat spacers made from hdpe would reduce some nvh? I am looking at the 1/4" type.

Any reduction would be minimal.

If you can run the stock tops it might reduce some of the noise.

Im going to build some for my rears out of a few sheets of toolbox liners...whenever I have to pull them off again.

They are not soft to match your wish.

What setup/purpose did you use them for?
They are softer than steel or aluminum. Maybe they will isolate some noise.

They are 6061 aluminum. Says so right in the discription. I've never seen spacers do anything to reduce NVH.

Why are you trying to reduce it? Did you install aftermarket bushings?

If you are looking at these ones ....... http://www.subtle-solutions.com/prod...28bab237f31f80 they are HPDE which is high density poly ethylene which is still pretty dam hard .

I don't think it would achieve what you are looking for you would most likely be better off with a medium density Poly Urethane .

If someone finds a material and does a solidworks drawing, we can have them laser cut with 0 turnaround time no problemo.

That would be the least efficient production ever haha.

Need a decently large sheet of something.

and a solid works file. Not enough profit for me to do the work, but wouldn't mind helping some people out for a one off run since we have access to a giant laser cutter.
