Brake Piston Compressor Tool

I'm coming up on another track day and need to install my set of high temp pads. I've been fortunate to not need a compressor tool to push the piston back recently, but I'd rather be prepared this time. What brand/tool would you recommend? I noticed the Harbor Freight version had so so reviews so I thought I'd check what everyone is using.

Thanks,

I just use a small block of wood and a clamp, works like a charm and I saved money for elsewhere.

Yep, a c-clamp also works great with a wood paint stir stick like this:

I've also used the curved part of the wrench in the trunk and that works great, just make sure to press the pistons fairly evenly.

I actually used a small Bessey bar clamp last brake job I did and it was easier by far than the C clamp - probably because it's lighter and easier to get to size. Plus it comes with silicone pads... Of course, if you don't have much of a non-automotive shop, you may not have these just lying around (let alone a wall full... it's a small wall, I swear) IIRC it's narrow enough I was able to depress the piston without removing the old pads, which made it easier to get the old one off.

yup or get old brake pads and a pry bar and push that sucker in.

My hands, somtimes a pair of channel locks with a towel for protection. Dont overthink it.

Two C clamps for the front calipers, one for the rears. If you use a piece of wood you can use a single clamp for the fronts as well.
