OFT refuses to connect to ecu. Need help.

I purchased my oft back in february of this year and have been using it no issues. I flashed back to stage 1 in early october with no issues. So i put the oft away at home.

Fast forward to two days ago. I go to flash a different tune on the car and it doesnt register the "key on." So i unplugged it and tried again a few times. Same thing. It throws an error saying that it cant connect to the ecu. I then tried to see if the datastream would work but it says that it cant connect to the ecu as well.

Anyone have info on what to do?

Probably a wiring issue with your obd2 header. Check that no pins have popped out on the back

That would be my guess as well. In order to power up the OFT (or any device with OBD2 plug connectivity, only the 12v power and GND pin needs to make contact. But in order to actually communication with the ECU, the CAN high and CAN low pins need to make contact as well. My guess is that one of these pins is either pushed out of the plug, bend or perhaps the female contact is rounded out. A quick visual inspection should determine things.
