FRS won't Start and doesnt want to idle !!!!

So i've been having this issue for a week now and been trying my best to solve the problem , the problem is that the car won't start and if it does it idles real bad to a point where the whole car is shaking .

The Is an Engine check light and i pulled the code it was P0123 (Throttle Body/Pedal A High Input), So after ruling out some stuff i assumed the the TPS took a S***t so i went ahead an replaced the throttle body mind you this since the problem appeared the throttle body started Humming and making noise.

i almost give up the next thing i can think of is that my gas pedal is out as well , if anyone had this problem before please share some info or what i can do to diagnose the problem

Did anything happen prior to this issue? Mechanical over-rev, run out of oil, bad tune, etc?

Um...go to the dealer.

Nothing that i can think of the car was driving fine, had no issues but start up was a little ruff wouldn't fire up from the first time

So...your warranty has expired? If not...why bother. Have it towed to dealer, BY the dealer. And make them fix it.

My guess based on his member info "Drives: 2013 Turbo FR-S" is that he has FI on the FR-S and no longer has warranty coverage.

The car is a boosted frs and if it had warranty ij the first place i wouldn't have bothered with it

Whoever provided the turbo kit and/or your tuner would have a better idea than most people browsing this section, the only thing remotely close to what you're describing were the early cam position issues but you're not getting any CEL codes that agree with that issue.

Go to your tuner/vendor or ask in the FI section.

Lol, don't you think the fact that you're boosted should have been mentioned in your first post? I knew there was more to your issue..

Broken. Return for a new one. Make sure to bring receipt for proof of purchase.

Test the battery. Less than 11V output is enough to cause mayhem on these cars.

I had a customer come in with all kinds of startability issues and wouldn't hold an idle. Codes all over the place.

Put a battery in it and it fired right back up and ran fine.

Hell, on my own car, I was having all kinds of lagging and sputtering in stop and go traffic. Battery was only measuring about 8.5V and was causing my issues.

1. did you tune the car yourself?
2. did you swap injectors? fuel pump?
3. change anything recently?

No i have a friend that tunes my cars but he hasn't retuned the car yet with ecutek
2. did you swap injectors? fuel pump?
i switched out the fuel pump to a DW65 but it was running fine after the pump install but now that i look at it closely i think there's something wrong with that pump i installed cuz its running real lean at idle ill put the stock pump on today and see if it fixes the problem , the code P0123 that came on kinda threw me in a different direction
3. change anything recently?[/quote]
injectors still remain stock so just the pump
