Anybody using Battery Tender JR?

Hello.

I recently purchased Battery Tender JR to keep my battery active while storing my beauty for the winter.
I searched a lot but there's no review of using on FR-S or BRZ.

If anybody's using Battery Tender on their FR-S or BRZ please let me know if theres any problem occurs.

I'm going to store it for about 4 months. :) Didn't disconnect the battery just installed right on.

Thanks!

Haven't used it on my FRS but always used on 5 other cars with no problems.

Did you disconect the battery from hood?

I am using one going on 3 years now without issue.

On the topic of battery tenders...what's the best solution for being in shared condo parking w/ no outlets?

Remove the battery. Keep it on a piece of wood/cardboard (not sure why??). If you want you can hook a battery tender to it in case it somehow starts to drain. When a battery drains down to a certain point it will not hold a proper charge even after jump starting the car and letting the alternator charge it.

All my batteries were left in the cars and hooked up to the cars.

Pull the battery out and bring it inside if its stored long enough. Otherwise don't worry about it.
If you absolutely need to use a tender and want to keep the battery in the car I've put my tender under the hood with it before so it didn't get stolen. I recommend covering your ignition to remind you to remove it before starting.

Doesn't a tender need an outlet? Thanks.

yes, thats why you need to remove and bring inside

Yup that's why I stuffed one under my hood once and ran an extension cord at an apartment complex. So it didn't get stolen.

Do you guys keep B.T hooked in and just leave it for 3~4 months or put away once every certain time?
