Hey guys . I've been here for a while, recently got my 86 for a few months and have done quite a bit so far . She is now with Steve Clark @ No sweat racing for a turbo upgrade. Will update once I receive the car .

very very nice! I wonder how you guys stomach the loss of warranty with mods like this... I would never take the chance

Looks lovely!

Have you gotten to grips driving it in stock form before adding turbo?

a very very valid point

I have driven it for a few months and have an idea of it's capabilities and in stock form. I preciously had a RunX trd for a few years which is also a high reving NA car..so more or less I have an idea , although rwd takes some time getting use to.

Its a good thing you have driven it for a few months. I hope you have been pushing it hard. Coz with a turbo, even slightly pushing it is going to equate to the same thing.

How high it revs makes no difference. Its the drivetrain and weight distribution + suspension that does.

The X is a VERY forgiving car. The 86 although forgiving is nowhere close to that.

One word of advice, be careful of coming on boost mid-corner.

Congrats and welcome!

How much is the kit from Steve and what all does it include?

I love what you've done with it thus far!

The gold looks great on your 86
