Question about lowering and tire fitments

Hi I was wondering if anybody can give me any insights on a couple of clearance issues,
I'm planning on running a square setups with enkei raijin 18.9.5 +45. I was reading somewhere that you need to be lowered on coils or springs for at least 1.5 inch for no clearance issue? Tire size that I'm planning is 255/35/r18 all four.
would this set up work for stock springs and stock suspension?
If i have to resort to coils or springs what would be my best choice? I'm thinking about RSR super down springs for the time being.
Any advice is appreciated.
:)

There is infoinformation that pertains to your setup. Don't think springs and 255 will work in the front. Requires coils.

that will rub with just lowering springs. you'll need coilovers to get clearance. besides, whats the point of having 255 tires and 9.5 wheels on a stock set up? thats too much tire and will just slow down your car

those look like bolts for german cars, I don't think they are studs.

18x8+45 wheels will *just* clear the stock suspension. with 8.5" you might need a small spacer up front, and definitely with 9".

9" wheels will look a little weird if it's not lowered, and provide way too much grip for a stock car. It'll slow you down.

18x8.5 + 45 with 235/40/18 clears fine with oem camber bolts :iono:

i have enkei kojins with the same specs, 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x8.5 up front.

stock suspension

the rear fit fine, the fronts have less than a pinky width of space between the tire and spring.

18x9.5 wont fit up front with a narrower spring
