most recent ECU software

Does anyone know if the 2015 model comes with a newer ECU software version to the 2014?

I am having a service done soon and will have it done.

Yes they do

Manual MY2014 ZA1JA01G MT 2015 ZA1JD00G

Auto MY2014 ZA1JA01I Auto 2015 ZA1JE00I

However I dont think they are compatible.

Tried the D00G rom in my late 2013 (My14) and thew CEL codes re communication with Dash Cluster and ECU Alternator control codes. Car ran ok if Dash Code P0155 disabled but switched back to original rom just to be safe. Suspect 2015 has some changes to dash software/hardware and possibly alternator.

also the dealers will not flash your car unless there is a service bulletin (TSB) instructing them to do so

I think the 700G/I ,900G/I A00G/I guys can get a flash to A01G/I as their was a TSB to flash earlier rom's to A01G/I due the DI seal issue and idle issues with those early roms but even then dealers seem reluctant to do it unless you whinge and bitch.

Their is apparently a A02G rom around but no one has pulled one yet

Sometimes you do need to persist with dealers over these types of issues.

e.g. the standard settings for the climate control in auto is such that it will go into recirculate mode automatically and inappropriately and seemingly at random and we did not appreciate the stuffiness. Not only that, the distraction switching off recirculate is a bit dangerous.
The dealer said there was nothing that could be done. Then I found this not to be correct and told the dealer. Same answer.
I got the name of the dealer who COULD do it and got it done for $50 (and they washed and vacuumed).

Did the reflash on my car for idle issue, now my car's response has gone down. Checked the newer '15 FRS and they already have these programmed at factory. Idle issue is gone but my car feels slower at dead stop. If I would have known, I wouldn't have updated it; reflash not worth it!!!! Don't do it people!!!

More likely to be the ECU hasn't relearned the pedal position.

Don't worry, your car will be fine in a few days. Make sure to give it plenty of varied driving @ different speeds. ECU needs to relearn fuel trims & pedal calibration.

Should read/learn more about the car before going on rants. As others mentioned the car is in relearning mode. If you pull the battery for too long it will do the same. You can just drive it and wait or you can try this:
