License Plate and Side Marker Lights Won't Turn On - Please Help!

I installed new license plate LEDs that I purchased a few days ago from a reputable vendor. I haven't driven my car at night more than once or twice since installing them, but tonight I pulled into the garage and went around the car to admire the new LEDs - to my surprise, the passenger-side one was out.

I had difficulty with that same light while I was installing it - it wouldn't light up until I removed it and put it back in once, so I thought that that might help again. I wasn't thinking straight since I was tired, but I removed the light while the lights were on (I know I've seen this done with the trunk LED replacement, but as I was tired and thought I could fix the problem quickly I didn't think to turn off the lights before I went to pull out the bulb and try putting it back in).

I put it back in, and it didn't work. I turned the lights off and on and it didn't work - I then noticed that now, the other license plate wouldn't work, and my side markers are now out.

I've tried switching back to my old white license plate LEDs that I had before these new ones, and those didn't work. I tried switching back to the stock ones, and that didn't work.

I am extremely distressed right now as I don't know what my options are or what happened - I am now worried that I shorted something somehow, and I do not know what to do to get it fixed, or if I will have to take it to the dealership (in which case I assume I have to replace all of my LEDs with the stock ones - which I dread because I had huge, huge difficulties installing my side markers appropriately, and I know it'll be worse after removing them and deforming the clips).

If anyone could help me with this issue or tell me my best course of action, I would really appreciate it as I am seriously distressed - this is the first significant issue I've experienced with my car.

Have you checked fuses?

Yeah - stopped freaking out and got the manual and used the spare fuse to replace the one that did blow upon inspection; I've just never had to do that before, but it was an easy fix and everything is working as it should now!

Will still need to find out what blew the fuse in the first place or it will likely just keep happening.

It was a new license plate bulb that I got a few days ago - the one that I mentioned wouldn't fit completely securely, and was out when I went to check on it which prompted the situation.

This was only the second time I had driven with it on. I've had both my previous license plate LEDs that I re-installed and my side marker LEDs for months now without issue.

The vendor I purchased the replacement light from is working to get me a new one.
