Suspension shop dilemma
So, I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm moving CA in a little over a week. My wheels finally showed up after 5 month, just after the moving company packed all my stuff including tools.
I've been waiting and waiting to install my ST coil overs and Cusco LCAs for my wheels to show up. Now all my tools, jack, and stands are on there way to CA. I don't have the room to pack the wheels and suspension along with my stuff into the car. Local shop quoted me $850 to install and align! :eyebulge: So... Any local shops that can do better then $850! Or should I go "buy" a jack, stands, socket set, and everything else I need? (Maybe return later... E.g walmart method).... |
@DarrenDriven has a shop, although I don't know how close he is to you. He's in southeast Portland.

Drift Office seemed close-ish based on Google Maps.

I'd say do jack+jack-stands yourself, you should be able to get a workable (and returnable) set up from HF for about $100, It'll take you around 2 hours to change out the shocks.
After that an alignment could run anywhere from "MFR spec alignment" at a tire shop at $60 to full corner balance and custom performance alignment for around $200-400 |
Give @Drift_Office a call... Bob has been great to work with.
