OFH+OFT Questions

Hey guys, have a few quick questions around the OFH+OFT products.

The only mod on my car right now is the Manzo exhaust, other than that completely stock. I am looking to make daily driving a bit more fun and get rid of the awful torque dip…and it seems like the Open Flash combo is the way to go.

I live in Maine, so there is a visual inspection, with the tuner, will it delete the CEL from removing the header cat? Is it normal to run just their header with the rest of the exhaust stock? Will my secondary cat still function normally? As long as the CEL isn’t on, I will be good to go.

Does the tune for their header require a drop in filter? I don’t have an aftermarket intake and am not really interested in one, unless someone has a suggestion for one that works particularly well.

This combo is great bang for your buck. Yes the CEL is disabled so it does not show. Its perfectly fine keeping the rest of the stock exhaust. It will help with any drone or rasp with catless headers. Best 1000$ you can spend that adds power, makes the car drive smoother and will remove the torque dip.

I have the OFH+OFT and Manzo Exhaust. And it sounds fantastic. No worries about the cat. The secondary one works fine by itself and the tune cancels out the CEL. I have a K&N drop in filter but it is not required. You really can't go wrong with the OFH+OFT. The only bad part of the deal is the wait for the header. But in the end it is well worth it.

Thanks guys, I am probably going to be in touch with them shortly. Seems like exactly what I want, and since it fits under the stock heat shield, I can get away with it at the dealership.

Is this a known fact or assumption???

If youre talking about the header, you can see it just by looking down in the engine bay. Its not hard to miss.

I'm planning on running the Tomei UEL header + Overpipe, with OFT.

I already have the Invidia Q300 which is quiet, but has a low grumble. Plan to keep the stock front pipe so the finished exhaust will sound powerful, but not obnoxious.
