Air conditioning gets warm when rpms go up
I've noticed lately in my 13 frs 10 series, when I have the ac on and cold air is blowing out of it, that if I go from stop to accelerating and my rpms go higher than 3k-4k the air gets warm. Has anyone else had this issue? Every other car I've owned it's usually the opposite effect where when the rpms go up the air gets cooler.

Is your car blowing cold before this happens?

I thought I read somewhere on these forums that our AC compressor shuts off temporarily when the engine is under heavy load so as not to rob it of power when it is needed most.

I notice my ac gets warm after around 110 mph

Yeah the air is cold before this happens and I am recirculating the air. I hope it's what everyone's saying about the condenser shutting off. I have noticed it happens when I'm flooring it. I wonder if it says anything about it anywhere? I've Google searched it and read the manual but nothing about the condenser.

All modern A/C compressors turn off at high RPMs/high engine load (close to WOT) to protect itself.

Just go get your AC checked.... should be under warranty. DIY is easy too just to check pressure.

Still good to check just in case. Takes 5 min. At least you can definitively rule out that error.

I'm under warranty so I'm just going to take it to the dealer and have them look at it might as well get my car cleaned while I'm there thank you all for the fast responses I love this forum
