USB port?

Does the FRS 2014 have a USB port that connects to the audio system? Hoping to play MP3 off the USB. Can't find anything online about it.

Thanks

Ya it's by the mission tray next to the shifter

Don't leave your phone, player, pad, etc. plugged in and sitting on the passenger seat though as it will set off the seat belt alarm. I was baffled the first time it happened.

@Tcoat holy shit I'm not the only one. It only happens when my phone is plugged in, doesn't matter if it's the USB port or a cigarette lighter charger. At first I thought maybe it was sitting just right and the pressure switch had like a point where if anything on the seat would set it off if it didn't weigh over a certain amount. After putting various items on my seat I realized it was just my.pligged in phone. My only thought it some sort or frequency given off when plugged in that trips the seat up

Its not a weight sensor - its a new technology that utilizes an electrical capacitance based sensor. It uses electrical capacitance to measure the body mass of an individual sitting there. Hence electronic devices that transmit like cell phones may give false readings. By the same token however, a 200 pound lump of platic would probably not turn the light on.

If you make your passenger piss them selves - it will actually set a DTC. (Seriously - it has a code that sets for the passenger seat cushion being wet)

Didn't read about it until after it happened to me though.

Also don't leave your phone, player, pad on the seat while away from the vehicle. It can cause the passenger window to break and your device to disappear.

I bluetooth music as it does not work with my Samsung S3 via USB.

HMMMM Odd! Is there a TSB out for that? Don't let the nay sayers get a hold of that info or you will soon see that FRS are now no good for another reason!

It doesn't work with my GS4 either. I just use Bluetooth with it charging through the cigarette lighter plug with a thick 5-inch micro USB. The GS4 lays in the center console.

It does, but don't let your mother use it.
