Which oil coolers work on a turbocharged FA20

I know there is a lot of talk about oil cooler kits out there on the market. I would just like to collect experience from posters here about what their cooler setup is and if it successfully kept the motor in a good temp range when pushing it on a road course (hpde or time trial). It would be good to note which ones (if any) did not work well at the track.

My personal reason for collecting this info: It is turning out that my turbo kit is churning out a ton of oil heat and the 7" Mocal laminova l2l oil cooler cannot deal with it.

Turbo kit:
Oil cooler kit:
Peak oil temps:
Sustained oil temps:
Peak coolant temps:
Ambient air temp at track:
Hpde or time trial:

Is imperious still on robispec? Have you seen any other oil coolers work for turbo cars out there in your heat?

Imperious Rex is on a Koyo Radiator and Greddy Oil Cooler now + 20A SPAL fans. His Robispec radiator was leaking quite a bit so this was the quickest solution we installed for him before the time attack weekend.

For reference, the Greddy Oil Cooler is obviously designed to fit with the Greddy Turbo kit and it has worked well for now (installed just in time for this past weekend). The Jackson Racing Oil Cooler is probably still the largest by volume oil cooler available on the market.

@Element Tuning how did the Perrin oil cooler fare?

Element Tuning 07-29-2014 11:27 PM

The Perrin cooler has been great so far but we are just still sorting this car out for racing. If it's not one thing, it's another :) In any event I base sucess on the oil pressure I'm seeing compared to what I had and I'm happy for now.

I feel if I need more cooling to deal with 450-500 HP I can always add one more Setrab core to my existing Perrin kit.

I was able to squeeze it all in but it was tight where my intake is.
