question about insurance
Ok so this isnt specific to our car but here is my question, If you get a speeding ticket and take a driving class to have it removed from your record, do you still need to tell an insurance company about it when applying for insurance?

i got pulled over a few weeks ago and had the same situation. each insurance company is different, but nonetheless, a speeding ticket would be on your record for them to see and its up to them if they would quote you a higher rate. for mine they said as long as i dont have points, then they dont really care.

You don't need to tell them anything, it's on your driving record.
If done right, it will be on your record but "removed" due to the traffic school completion. -alex |
If insurance companies have taught me anything it is that they're smart enough to get what's theirs when they can, let the bureaucracy handle it, keep your head down and do the course, unless it's buried in some terms you agreed to the only reason you need to contact them is to make a claim, adjust or pay for your policy.
