C8H11NO2...The Thread

Ok I'm starting this thread from scratch because I've been procrastinating so much and so much has changed or has been left behind. I really don't have a plan about exactly what I want to do with my car but I hope sharing my experiences with various parts will let people make their own decisions about the things they want for their cars, and that's what forums are for right?

In case anyone is like "dafuq does C8H11NO2 mean?" -> As a BioChem student at UofT I figured that in order to not be seen as 'just some random with an obnoxious car' I should make the license plate into a joke. The chemical formula is for Dopamine which is a neurotransmitter often associated with pleasure and is a key reason why Cocaine (and others) is so addictive. Much like Cocaine I feel the BRZ is 1) Very fun in a controlled setting 2) Always putting a smile on my face 3) Costs and absolute fortune to keep my addiction going 4) was probably not the best purchasing decision... and on that note here she is!

In Ontario the best fuel we can get is Petro 94 which is what the car was tuned on, the final numbers weren't crazy high but considering the car baselined at 140whp and the fact I still smile overtime I put my foot down its more than enough power for me!

Woohoo Brakes are almost finished being coated!

Thought I would share the video I took of my varex exhaust in action. You can hear the switch between open and closed. This was with my non-resonated front pipe however since this video I have sold the front pipe while waiting for my new resonated front pipe.

Just picked up both sets after being opticoated and so anxious to get them on the car! Waiting on my tire shop to get some RS3 tires in stock, but in a way I feel its a good thing because mother nature is definitely Honeypoting us with our recent weather!

Congrats on the 100k mark. I'm almost there too. How're you liking your JRSC? Any issues with it so far? I've been planning on getting one too

No issues with the supercharger so far! However I have been dealing with vacuum hoses being blown off or in the case of the vacuum power brake line cracking causing a vacuum leak!

Overall I'm completely happy with the decision to supercharge it, while I was waiting months for the supercharger to arrive I had huge doubt that I wouldn't like it and that I should just get a c6 z06 or 996 turbo as something with all the power I need stock but the way the car feels now with all my mods I have absolutely zero regrets and have that constant want to drive it like when I first bought car
