Brighter dome light that keeps dimmer function
 

I changed all my exterior bulbs to LEDs, and would have done the interior ones but I like the warmer yellow light. It's just not bright enough. I like the function that gradually brightens the bulb, apparently this feature goes away when you put LEDs in.

I never noticed, but I don't think this feature is present on the puddle/courtesy lights is it?

for what your looking for in a bulb/ led, i don't think you're going to find anything. I'm thinking these are your only options

standard halogen bulb: warm white/ brightens/ mid light output
standard halogen bulb: cool white/ brightens/ mid light output

LED bulb: cool white/ standard dim/ low-high output
LED bulb: warm white/ standard dim/ low-high output

Keep in mind that the LED bulbs to dim in and out it just happens a lot faster.
The bonus to the LED's is that they are available in a wide range of colours and brightness levels. you'll have a lot more choice. You'll also save on power consumption

you're correct, the courtesy lights do not have the dimmer feature. its almost instant but the halogen does warm up a little bit. not very noticeable at all though.
