Engine Bay Rusting

Anyone notice rusting around this area ? or im the only one ?
Was cleaning my engine bay after a car wash when I notice the whole stretch is rusted. Collected my car on May 2013. |

i dont have any, i'm August 2013 will check again in 4 months i would take it back to the dealer and say WTF |
Uh... That's not rust? Pretty sure plastic bumpers don't rust.

looks more like a type of sealant. based on the texture and how its flaking out

just checked mine..had the car since 2012 and exposed to a lot of snow , but no rust. The metal is black and intact

Maybe automatic car washes and high pressure pushing water in there and it's sitting?

My XPEL installer pointed out mine. My door sills have rust spots too.

That's a factory defect. Way too much rust in a little time. Warrenty that.
