3mm wheel spacer
Has anyone found a 3mm spacer that they prefer? A lot of wheels come in 35 or 45 offset and I think a 42 is probably perfect.
Is there even any interest in a hubcentric 3 or does everyone just go to a 5? |
Two seconds.

I was curious what people were actually using. That style, the cheaper style (linked below), or the universal ones with the hubcenter lip on them. I guess I phrased my question wrong.

As a minimum you should be using flat hubcentric ones (56.1mm). Being 3mm thick you're still left with approx 4mm of hub lip protruding past the spacer. IIRC the factory hub has a 7mm lip.
Personally I'd go with hub + wheel centric spacers, which has a 10mm lip that mates nicely into your wheel bore. Custom made ones aren't that expensive anyway. Check out these guys: http://www.motorsport-tech.com/wheel_spacers.html |
