Metallic Rattling sound past 4k

So i installed an intake and got a ft86sf flash/tune not to long ago and about a week after that i hear a metallic buzz, Sounds like its coming from somewhere on the drivers side engine bay... over 4-5k rpm all the way up to redline
not noticeable in 1-2 gear but 3-6 u can hear it.. i rev it up in neutral and there is no sound so i know it cant be the intake.. its only when moving or when the torque kicks in i guess.. also took the metal heat shield off the bottom of the car to see if that was the problem and drove around and its still there.. it doesn't make noise if im in the 3k rpm range and going over bumps. i feel like its only under load

My guess is that the intake is "buzzing" up against something.

It may hit that something only when the engine twists a bit (torque), because it's under load.

So, I'd suggest you try to find where a part of the intake may be rubbing and stick something between those parts.

humfrz - jest guessing ....

^ I like the way you think.

If it was fine, then you changed something, and now it's not fine, always look first at the thing you changed ;)
