tom's tail lights issue

i installed my tail lights and got the flasher installed also and when i use the left turn signal it does not work at all..also when i push the emergency lights same thing..only the right side works. I sent the video of it happening to RavSpec which i purchased the lights from. Not much help except that they would contact Depo and let me know but this was yesterday morning. :iono: anyone else had this issue?

These USDM Tom's? or JDM's requiring re-pinning? Guessing they are USDM. Sounds like you may have a defective unit..

MokSpeed 05-01-2014 08:10 PM

US DOT approved models are straight plug & play. He may have the JDM spec ones.

Try reinstalling your original flasher relay and see if it works then. Might have gotten a bad one.

They will be deliveried this Friday.

I tried soooooooooooooooo hard not to open this thread.

Im at work but I will try it in the AM . Its just weird that the right works and not the left. So far ravspec ain't doing much to help with the issuebut we will see if they get back at me sometime soon.

Like everybody else said, try the original flasher relay with the bad tail light, or you could also try the new flasher with the OEM tail light, make sure the that works. Doing both would be a good double check to see if the problem is with the relay or the tail light itself.

Also just double check the connection at the right hand light and make sure it is not something silly like the plug is not pushed in all the way
