SPED D HEADLIGHTS W/ HID DIODE DYNAMICS WORK?
 
Hey guys im getting the Spec D headlights for our FRS and i want the HID option but im looking into DIODE DYNAMICS HIDs. Will their H1 HID Kit work with our cars? i have HIDS now but can i just get swap the bulb to an H1 bulb? not sure how that works.

Hope Someone Can Give Me Some Insight! THANKS !:thumbup:

You should be able to swap just the bulbs and keep using the ballast.

H1s will work but D2S bulbs are the perfect fit solution. With H1 bulbs you have to use washers and try to center the light. The D2S bulbs are a direct fit eliminating the need to play with washers for fitment.

I think the winjets may be a better choice for me personally... Less problems and they have been out for a while which eliminate the technical erros the spec d may have

Whatever works for you. I have both. I've experienced no issues with the spec d lamps unless you have a front mount intercooler.
