Defi meter installation problem

Hi all, I am a new member.

I am trying to DIY to install the Defi Advance ZD on my 86
I have some problems about it.

First, instruction said a cable ( SPD & TACHO ) should be connected to the ECU to get the speed signal and the tacho signal.

Would I know the ECU location and the related pinout?
Thank you all.

I'm having the same problems as well. Without any wiring diagram or instructions. I could not get it to work at all. I have the Advance ZD Clubsport package and could only get the oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp to work. :iono:

If you have a brz you can search the aem failsafe threads and find the wire. If you have an frs you have to tap into a coil wire as the tach is canbus only.

Finally got the rpm to work by tapping into the Tach signal on the A35-15 pin. But still unable to locate the speed signal.

Actually the picture of the wire was posted up on the AEM Failsafe gauge wiring DIY. The easy way to locate the wire on the pin itself is by trying to locate the thinnest white/grayish color wire. That is where I tapped into for the Tach signal.

I tapped the tacho signal on the ECU plug which is Defi recommendation
I sent a email to the defi jp and ask for technical support
A wiring diagram was attached in the reply mail

But I couldn't found the speed signal yet
