Fuel trims abnormal after cleaning intake.

Hello all, I have been beating my head on this for a few weeks now. I do have a tune but I'm seeing the same things on the stock flash as well. Either before the first autox event or right after I decided to take my intake apart(evo intake tube, drop in trd filter) clean it make sure there was no nastiness in the throttle body ect. Put every thing back together and since then I have been having short term trims jump to about plus 20 on idle. Talking with my tuner it leads us to a intake leak someplace.
Before I did this trims and what not were all fine and in place.

So I have re-taken apart and put this thing back together at least 5 times trying to find the spot. Also cleaned and re-oiled the trd filter. Still having issues. Thinking of putting the stock system and paper filter back on and see what happens.

Any help would be great.

Checked the MAF sensor itself and given it a clean? All clamps on tight?

Ill check the mas readings tonight. All clamps are tight.

I could be off base here as it's been a while since I had mine apart, but I believe there is a small O-ring where the MAF sensor mounts. Is it possible this is missing or damaged?

The maf sensor has never been unbolted from the stock airbox unit. Its still like it was from the factory.

@csgmike did you guys see fuel trim issues when you had the leaky injector?

Pull your maf and clean it. I had some issues with filter oil on my maf causing a lean idle and lean tip-in... sounds like the trd filter is oiled?

Do you have drivability issues sich as tip in hesitation?

Throwing the stock intake on to check the trims would be a good first step as well

What happens if you go to the dealer and get a brand new stock filter and then run a stock flash with it?
