IAM dropping during freeway cruise
 

Hey guys, I've been seeing my IAM bounce around to as low as ~0.7 while just cruising in 6th on the freeway. It seems to correct itself and comes back up to 1.0 eventually in the city. I'm running an OFT, stage 2 with OFH on 92 octane from Shell. Other mods include drop-in dry filter, modified snorkel, and Perrin intake tube.

From what I've gathered so far, it looks like I get knock events related to increases in engine load at cruise RPM. I'm not sure if this qualifies as tip-in knock or not. The middle portion of the log represents relatively steady state freeway travel and shows the knock events I'm talking about. The end has some heavy throttle use and no knock events.

Any suggestions on what's causing the knock or how to correct this are appreciated!

I think it will get down to pulling some timing or running higher octane fuel

The higher rpm looks ok but you IAM is always less than 1 so once you get that sorted you will be running more advance up top and it may uncover a problem there.
