Need to get a Catback doughnut flange (Just the flange), but where???
Story is I have the TRD exhaust on my BRZ, but I want a 2.5" midpipe not the crummy under 2" midpipe thats on the stock TRD exhaust... So I went to the exhaust shop, and they don't want to modify the TINY TRD flange as seen here:
http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...411_141251.jpg (stock is on the left, TRD on the right) http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...1&d=1385340851 And I'm keeping my stock midpipe (not the TRD midpipe, the stock stock midpipe) so I don't want to cut the flange off that pipe. Does ANYONE know where to get these flanges at for our cars??? I mean just the one part like this: http://www.velocityshop.com/images/p...onut-combo.jpg All the companies making aftermarket catbacks have to be getting these from somewhere for their exhausts, so SOMEONE must carry this in the correct size... (the one pictured is going from a 2.5" to a 2.25". I want 2.25" to 2.25" or maybe 2.25" to 2.5" if thats an option) |

Not finding anything on summit.

I ran into this with another car about 7 years ago. I remember being able to find it on one website for roughly $45....so um yeah shot in the dark. Good luck.
It was for an Integra or RSX... Some honda site. |

Are we sure those bolt holes will match up?

Screw it, I'll just order one and find out.

The exhaust shop I went to for a custom mid pipe for my TRD had a flange in stock. The tech said it was for a Toyota truck. That's all the info I have. I suspect it is either from a V6 Tacoma or a RAV 4. Hope that helps narrow down your search. Once you get this done, you'll instantly notice an increase in pull from 5500 on up (even more so if you're running an aftermarket over pipe/front pipe).
Edit: @Kostamojen Have you decided what to use for a resonator? |
SOOO glad I didn't get the TRD exhaust after seeing this... why did they put a smaller midpipe on than stock?

Having been an NA Subaru guy for over ten years...
...the only way to fix the torque dip is to not try and fix it at all. |
