Race seat / SRS Functionality

Hello everyone

Question for those who have replaced the seat with a race seat (and the side airbag):

Since the srs light comes on, will the rest of the airbags still function or are all disabled?

Thanks a bunch

It disables the system. Get a resistor to plug into the airbag plug to trick the system into thinking it is hooked up. Google airbag resistor trick and you should be able to find which one to use.

Its a 3.3ohm resistor for the yellow plug but on passenger side there is also a grey plug that needs signal. So what resistor gets pluged into the grey plug? there has to be a better way than pulling out the seat sensor from the stock seat

The gray on both sides is the seat belt chime.

Interestingly. Enough on the druvers side, its a n.o. Curcuit so you can just unplug the plug.

Not so on pass side...

You can have the seatbelt chime disabled via techstream. I did it so it wouldnt go off when my phone was charging and sitting on it.

So why r people pulling out the seat sensor to plug in and put under the seat? I have my passenger seat out but all my airbags are disabled. Yellow plug gets a 3.3ohm resistor. what about the grey one? i dont wanna remove the seat sensor from the stock passenger seat

Gray is seatbelt

Yellow is airbag
