How to replace ecu / immobilizer system?
Hello,
I need to replace ecu of my car if u ask reason it's ecutek NA flashed by previous owner of car and now my car has hks supercharger kit and F-con. Since I don't own a ecutek cable and dongle I can't upload factory map and I can't use the f-con properly, so since I don't want to spend more and since I have all engine/electronic of my second gt86 I thought would be cheaper ( but harder ) to replace ecu and immobilizer system, but I am not sure what else do I need to replace together with the ecu to make it work without any problem? I have a donor car ( same year same spec, we just put gt-r engine on and built a track car ) so finding oem gt86 parts won't be hard for me cause they are laying in my friend's garage... I just need a full list of necessary parts. If somebody can help me I will be glad. Thanks... |
Why not send email to ECUtek. + ECUtek is only 300 then find someone local with a cable if i'm not mistaken.

You'll need to replace the gauge cluster with the matching one for your replacement ECU.
