Followed the DIY, but didn't black out all of the reflector.

I painted the bottom of the high beam reflector so that when your looking at the light from above (which is always), it looks completely blacked out.

High beams are only slightly dimmer. Wouldn't have noticed if I didn't know.

Thanks. It was way easier than I thought it would be. I was worried about baking the headlights, but that was the easiest part. I couldn't find anything that would clean the reflectors without leaving whitish haze and streaks. Tried rubbing alcohol, pure alcohol, glass cleaner with paper towels, cotton, microfiber. Nothing got it completely clean.

Thanks BR. Removing he front clip was hardest part. It'd be easy to do again though.

hey I was planning on doing the same thing maybe, have you tried your high beam? I'm wondering if blacking out the bottom would make a difference.

Ive only seen one instance on this site of the baking going wrong, and that was when someone baked their headlights like 5 times in a row, so i would think you'd be ok. just don't crazy though.

You'll be fine, just be aware of how much sealant you're losing each time.
