Window Regulator Bolts/Washers - TSB and new parts?

DOUBLE POST: Mods please delete my double post. Sorry about that!

I brought the BRZ (2800 miles - stock) in to my dealer this morning to have a clunking noise coming from my driver's side door addressed.

The issue was that when operating the window there were two distinct clunks when the window started to move and then another about halfway up. It would happen both going up and down.

They had it taken care of in about an hour and said that they did find that the bolts that attached the window motor regulator to the door had come lose and that was causing the noises as the regulator rattled against the bolts/what it was supposed to be secured to.

Anyhow they told me that there was a revision and now I have new bolts and also washers which were apparently not part of the original build. Washers! What a concept.

Is this a known TSB/part revision ? I searched but didn't come up with anything.

Irony department: when I got to work and parked I heard my first crickets. Of course. :bonk:

I don't see a TSB on this issue unless they're talking about the frozen window TSB. Seems like a reasonable repair for that issue, however.

Yea it seems to have worked great but then again I don't use the window a whole lot since its been so cold. I'm wondering if the passenger side will have the same fate.

We shall see...
