Uneven Exhaust Tips!!

The has to be a simple solution to this problem but I can't find one.

I just installed my Takeda Catback exhaust on my BRZ and the install was relatively easy. But I've noticed that my right side exhaust tip is perfectly centered, but the left side is hanging high left. I've checked the hangers and everything seems legit.

I can't be the first person to get uneven ends. Any help is appreciated.

I used extra long hangers on my j2 catback, and had to use a combination of extra long and oem hangers to get it to hang right.

try loosening the connection between the mid pipe and front pipe, adjusting it and then re-tightening it?

Stick a piece of pipe in the end of the offending exhaust tip, heat up the tail pipe with a torch, then bend the tail pipe to where you want it.

Well, that used to work back in the day ..... :iono:

sometimes my tip hangs to the right, and other times to the left... oh, hah were talking about exhaust.. nvm.

I had uneven tips when installing my perrin cbe, I fixed it by loosening up the joints at the muffler/s-pipe and at the s-pipe/mid-pipe, then gently pulling my tip back and forth until I was satisfied... before re-tightening the joints. It worked.

Thanks for all the input guys. I ended up taking it to my local shop and the guy charged me fifteen bucks to torch the end and bend it into alignment. It most likely bent during shipping and he fixed it really good. Other than that, apparently one of the tips was welded on at an incorrect pitch so if you really really look for it you can see one tip tilted counter clockwise. But at a glance, hell even an extended look you can hardly see anything. I'll post some pics soon if the demand is there...

You should see the cut job on my tips. Looks like someone took a hacksaw to cut the pipes and then a fingernail filer for 5 seconds over them to sand it down. Yes, also a J2 exhaust, let me tell you about quality hahahahaha Biggest mistake buying knockoff exhaust.
