Screencast: MAF and Speed Density
[ame="http://youtu.be/VS8lZCNzR5U"]http://youtu.be/VS8lZCNzR5U[/ame]
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that if you're going to use a charge air temperature sensor (or blow-through MAF's internal IAT sensor), you'll want to zero out the temperature comps by putting '100' in for all of the values.
Another thing i just noticed is that if you were NA you could theoretically still use the MAF's internal sensor and not worry about comps, but then who tunes with speed density while n/a? Nobody lol. For people with no IAT whatsoever (which is none of us), you'll need to use the calibration temperature and compensations.
Other than that it's just a basic primer on MAF and speed density, what they are, how they work and what they're each good for. Also provides a very basic overview of the different options with RaceRom and how to get started setting it up.
More in-depth screencasts covering the tuning of both systems will be available soon.
