Anybody else have noises after lowering?

Anybody else getting popping noises on uneven surfaces after being lowered? My car just recently starting doing this and I'm not sure where the problem lies. It's not the struts or control arms. It's definitely not ball joints or bushings. At this point I'm thinking its either the sway bar end links or the chassis itself flexing and popping. I'm lowered on h&r super sports with koni struts; also have whiteline lower control arms, and whiteline roll center/bump steer correction.

Yes. Its gonna make more noise after lowering. I would guess sway bar is binding as a lot of the noises go away with adjustable links it seems.

I have a rolling/sliding type noise like something is loose in the rear (it might be the seats actually) when I take a bumpy turn, such as a driveway. But that's it for me. RSR Superdowns and nothing else.

I had a weird popping noise after lowering my car on RCE yellow springs. Then I found out I didn't tighten down the front sway bar end link nut to the strut.

did you use an impact gun to undo the center nut? most people who have basically killed their shocks, but these are on the stock ones. if you didn't, maybe the center nut isn't tightened all the way. this happened to me when I tightened the nut before lowering the car and loading the wheels. i'm on H&R super sports also.

Nope, when I installed my konis I used pass through ractchets so I could hold the strut still. I'm pretty confident that my struts are fine. I'm still leaning towards sway bar end links being my issue since they are still OEM. Its only happening on uneven surfaces at low speeds when the chassis seems to be flexing.

Have you inspected them yet? I haven't done anything since mine were installed because I drive with my windows down when its warm so I rarely hear it.

If everything's been tightened properly and installed correctly nothing should make noise. Unless you're past -1.5" from stock nothing should come in contact to any of the components clearance wise.

My initial guys was that I preloaded the trailing arms and it might be contributing to it. My plan of action is to re torque everything back there

Happened to me before too. The nut came off and the front sway bar just kept clanking around. Drove me nuts trying to figure out where the clanking was coming from.
