window trouble
Freaking out a little right now....
Driver window only rolls down with driver switch... Passenger window only goes does with switch on passenger door... Driver door passenger window switch doesn't work. Also, auto roll down and up doesn't work... Is this something from the cold doing this? |
you're not the only one. Yesterday, I noticed the passenger window toggle "auto" light blinking. Tried opening using the driver side toggle and it wouldn't work, however, the passenger side toggle works. Not sure the cause of this.
I would guess its the cold weather because that's the only noticeable change that happened around my area, but it doesn't make sense that it works from the passenger side but not driver side. Just gotta wait and see if the weather is really affecting it. |
Same happening here. Also, my windows will not completely shut when I get in the car. They lower a bit when I open the door to get in, as designed, but they don't back unless I manually raise the window that extra centimeter with the switch on the door. The lights on my window switches are also blinking.
I also think it is due to the cold weather, but I thought cold was below –5°F. I would guess that you don't get that cold in VA or GA. Perhaps there is some systemic problem with the window mechanism. |
Read pg 52 of your owners manual.
