Window switches not working right after battery swap
Okay, so the other day, I swapped my batter out for a Lightweight Braille battery (11lbs, using the FT86SpeedFactory kit, if it matters). Ever since then, I have noticed that from the driver's side, I can roll the driver's side window up and down, but the "auto down" and "auto up" features don't work. I have the hold the button the whole time each way. The switch for the passenger's side window on the drivers side doesn't work at all! On the passenger's side, the switch for the passenger side window works, but again, it must be done manually both ways.
Is this something to do with swapping the battery (can't imagine how it could be, but that's the only thing I did that day) or is it something to do with the cold whether? |

That ought to re-set the auto up & down. Yep, that can happen after the battery is disconnected. humfrz |

If you live in a cold area you might run into the same problem with the auto up/down not working due to ice and it sticking, but the solution mentioned above fixes it all the same. I had to go a step further because it got stuck in the down position on a 5° day so I had to remove the negative terminal for while before I could roll the window back up to reset the motors.
