65mm overpipe

Has anyone got any first hand experience of performance gains made by fitting a 65mm [2.5"] overpipe with no other modifications. Thanks in advance:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The standard overpipe is smaller than 65mm but has areas that are squashed to give clearance which restricts the flow I would think dramatically.

There are heaps that make 21/2" overpipes.

Perrin, JDL, Nameless, Motvi + more.

I recently fitted 63mm overpipe for the Sprintex SC with already having Borla header and full decat exhaust, I can't honestly say the overpipe made any difference, even on dyno I recorded same KW prior to fitting overpipe.

Ryan86 am I understanding you correctly, you already had full decat system, borla header and sprintex fitted and dynoed then fitted a 63mm overpipe and re-dynoed with no improvement in figures.
If this is the case, it is exactly the info I was after, thanks.

You understanding me correctly.

Before fitment of overpipe dyno and after fitment dyno showed no improvement.

The only significant change in power while still NA, was DIF, Borla header with a tune, got me 18wkw gain.

Not sure if anyone else found changing the overpipe increased power?

The overpipe isn't as much of a restriction as the front pipe, if you're only going to replace one part replace the front pipe.
