Hi moe_5 and welcome to the forum..... http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...es/welcome.gif

Well, the shifter on the MT of my 2013 doesn't shake.

You say you "slam" gears .... ??

I like to think that the proper way to slot the shifter into another gear in the FR-S is sort of like opening and closing the bolt on a 30-06, kind of slow but positive.

I'm sure others will be along with some more insight....;)

Shift like you have an egg in your hand.. Don't force it. Slip back into neutral and then back into gear if there is resistance. Your tranny will be much happier.

Willing to bet "slam gears" means gas to the floor and upshifting from one to whatever as fast as possible, and lugging the hell out of the engine causing various things to shake. Has to be Fast and Furious related, because racecar.

I hope you aren't actually slamming the gears in if they don't go in like a knife through warm butter its probably better to rev match a little better

First FR/RWD car? As the shifter is directly mounted to the transmission, when you load the engine and transmission, the shifter is going to move. If you're breaking traction, it will shake as the tires fight for traction.
