BRZ Headlight pin/wiring diagram
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,
I'm installing a set of BRZ headlights on my GT this weekend and was just wondering if anyone has the wiring diagram for the headlight connector. I believe it's (for the right headlight): [Pin 1] White - Red Stripe : Indicator [Pin 2] Blank [Pin 3] Red : Parkers [Pin 4] Black: Ground [Pin 5] Blue : Low beam [Pin 6] Black - White Stripe: Ground [Pin 7] White - Blue Stripe: High Beam [Pin 8] Black - White Stripe: Ground I've got the plugs/connector, so the plan is to simply repin the BRZ connectors. Also, does anyone know of a indicator replacement for the GT/FRS? As l'll have the indicator in the headlights l was thinking of removing the stock GT ones. Cheers! |
Looking through the wiring diagram for the BRZ and it looks correct, although l just have the left/right switch.

Thanks for the diagram! I'm planning to install Spec-D headlights on my GT86 and put the Chargespeed bumper on w/o any light elements.

Where did you purchase your BRZ headlights @2SeeKU?

Sorry for Bumping. Anyone wire it so that the boomerang is always on?
|
so the pins can come off? no cutting of wires required??

I've even tried setting the boomerangs to function with parking/headlights, then double tapping both LED wire to the DRL wire (green wire on passenger side, also removed the resistor). Any help in the right direction would be nice! |

I got the always on kit and love it. Because it dims the drl which is always on too at night which is inportant as they are very bright. Its plug and play. Vs finding the diode current etc etc. |

Anyone know which pin position on the 8 pin connector is the DRL?

I am trying to get the DRL to work in the spot on the BRZ light that was the turn indicator. I disconnected the resistor, ran a wire from the green wire plug to the spot on the new BRZ light connector (spot 8, green wire), but no luck. Fuse is good. Any ideas? Will the BRZ yellow bulb not work as a DRL? |
