New Shop Car - Whiteout FR-S
 

We just picked up our new shop car, a 2013 Whiteout FR-S with 60 miles on it. We've got big plans for this car so stay tuned for updates. We will be slowly transforming this car from stock to an all out track car. We will have build threads in the FI and Chassis sections as we progress.

We've already made some steering rack bushings and a simple intake (we just couldn't leave it alone). We have a few days of evaluation to do on the dyno and the lift but we should start making some major progress shortly.

We did a baseline on our AWD Superflow Dyno. One thing we noted both driving these and running them on the dyno is the very choppy feel. The dyno graphs I've seen in person and online all seem to confirm a rough running condition. We will be working to try and solve that ASAP.

We will be making a lot of solid bushings but we figured we would start with the ones most directly connected to the steering feel.

have you tested the gains with that intake yet? looks like it might suffer when the engine bay is hot

We haven't quite gotten EcuFlash working yet so we haven't done anything besides the baseline.

A fully shrouded intake like the Takeda would probably be best if you plan to stay NA. The idea behind this intake is that it's way better than stock and when we build our turbo kit it will simply be turned 90 degrees and clamped to the front of the turbo. We try to keep our customers from having to buy anything twice (whenever possible). This way you can buy a nice intake at a good price and later if you upgrade to our base model turbo kit you can save some money on the turbo kit and order it with no intake.
