Hi. I wanted to have some feedback about this headers. What are the issues if it have some?

What quality should I expect from them?

I have had them for about 5k miles and absolutely love them. These with a good tune helped tremendously in the torque dip area. No real rasp if you have a resonated cat-back, or catted/resonated front pipe. Here is mine. They will be for sale in the next week however :)

If you get the headers, get a tune. You're pretty much guaranteed to throw a CEL with catless headers and the car runs SO much better with just the headers + tune.

I'm getting mine e-tuned by Drift-Office and the difference is night and day. With the stock map, the car was obnoxiously loud until it warmed up and was still pretty loud once warmed up. With their base map, everything has quieted down and the car is smooth throughout the rev range. Still sounds badass when I go through the gears, but it's almost as quiet as stock when I'm not hooning it up.

I'm sticking with the stock headerback until I get some money saved up for a full Perrin exhaust. IMO, the BRZ should have come with a UEL header from the get-go.

Oh, and for a stock vs Rev Works UEL comparison.

For the price you don't seem to beat the quality. I haven't gotten mine yet, they are being built. Hopefully they live up the hype!

ramiram1984 11-07-2013 11:40 AM

youcantseeme24 11-07-2013 11:46 AM

go ahead and buy it you will love it.....cold start is loud but in about 20 sec it settles down and after that it is a very smooth sound and you do get a great mid range power bump

ive had them for maybe 4 months. good quality but i have a leak were the flanges meet the over pipe. bad angle or warped idk . they have offered to fix it but im debating shipping back again

grostoine 11-09-2013 09:23 AM

Does the sound will get raspy? I got nameless OP/FP catted and resonated (helmholtz), namless axleback with 5'' muffler and stock midpipe.

ramiram1984 11-09-2013 09:57 AM

Not if it's resonated
