Help! Vortech SC oil drain tubing destroyed!
Apparently I incorrectly mounted the oil drain tubing and it resulted in rubbing against the crank pulley creating a hole in the tubing. It's leaking everywhere. Is there a way to repair the stainless steel flexible hose?
Does anyone know the tubing size? I want to cut away the damaged section and couple the tubing. Where can I get the stainless tubing? I'm stranded. No oil in the SC. Any help will be great. Thanks! |
I think I just spoke to you on the phone! :P

Thanks! Hopefully I can get the hosing by tomorrow. I just checked the oil and it is at the half way mark. I was expecting it all to leak out last night. Also I found out I have about 1 to 2 oz of fluid left over. If I bend and pinch the hose, that should keep the fluid from leaking? |

I'm assuming the drain line screws into the supercharger. If the size of that port is the same size as the vent port. Could you not drain your supercharger, and install the shipping plug into the drain port to block it off? |

I personally would park it until fixed, losing your SC oil and running it dry at multiple speeds faster than your engine RPM sounds like a bad time |
Anyone know the size of the oil drain tubing?

@Rick@Vortech It does not look like you guys updated your documentation yet to cover some of these types of things yet?
