Alignment issues
I been using this car as a DD for about 5 months
I hit some big pot hole and had to replace the bearing So I got the car realigned after that. Ever since then the car cannot hold its alignment I have taken it back to the alignment shop 3 times this month And every time they put it on the rack the alignment is Completely off. I don't track the car. I use it for a dd Not even spirited driving. The dealer was no help. They are the ones that actually replaced the bearings The car doesn't pull that badly anymore... Or maybe I've just gotten Use to it. Question for people that actually track it? Is it holding the alignment? If it can't do it on a dd I wonder how it does when you actually push the car Thanks |

What bearing? Wheel bearing? If it won't hold alignment, something is wrong and you need to find out what it is before you have a catastrophic failure.

Post up the before and after readings for the alignment.

Will do
Wheel bearing was replaced by the dealership |
Tie rod maybe?

The explanation you've been given is pure BS.
Once the alignment is completed CORRECTLY nothing can move so the alignment can't mysteriously alter. Alignment is fixed by the suspension bolts. Bushing wear or component damage are the causes of alignment variation. If done properly the alignment settings themselves CANNOT MOVE. Your alignment shop is incompetent. Probably you have some as yet I identified suspension damage due to the pothole hit. I'd guess a tie rod or ball joint as been bent or flattened. |
