Need some Suspension advice!
 

Hey guys, in about a month I'll be moving to Norfolk and if any of you have driven there you know the roads are complete shit all around. I currently have Eibach Sportlines with stock shocks. And the ride is WAY rougher than I'd like. Anyone have any advice on how to smooth the ride out a bit? I want to keep the sportlines as I like the drop and cant afford to go full coilover setup right now, but I'm open to suggestions for sure.

I'm on a budget so thats a factor. I like the Koni Yellows but I'm not so sure about front inserts (nor do I have the equipment required to install them).

Let me know what you guys think, I'd appreciate it!

Koni Yellows would be nice because they're adjustable, that way you can set the comfort level (rebound setting), to where it works for you. Anything adjustable so that you can get a good setting that works without having your head bob around all the time would work. The least expensive route would be shocks, or you can go all out and get a set of KW V3's which are rebound and compression adjustable, so that you can dial in the exact feeling you want to get out of the car.

Anything like BC, or HKS, coilovers are going to be too bouncy if you ask me, if the roads are as bad as you say they are, KW's are more tuned towards street driving, so have softer spring rates, and the valving on the shocks to match.

That's just my feeling on it though, I'm sure there are guys in your area that could give good recommendations too.

Koni yellows on full soft or near full soft are very comfortable. I'd say they're an improvement over stock, even with my stiffer springs.

Norfolk? Def get the yellows. I'm gonna spring for a set before too long, hwy264 is a killer. Freakin speed bumps in the middle of the road and shit. :(

I'm on RCE Yellow springs and stock shocks. It does fine on 264, 64, and 664.

By fine, I mean I'm still alive and my back doesn't get sore like it did in the STI (with BC BR coilovers) on the same roads.
