Grinding noise?
 

last night while driving, i went to make a normal right hand turn and heard some strange grinding noise and the VSC light started blinking... there doesnt seem to be anything under my car or anything and the car is stock.

has anyone had a similar issue or know what this might be?

Did this turn involve any kind of an incline or loss of traction? Most likely you unloaded one of the rear tires and it pissed your stability control system off. The noise you heard was most likely the ABS system.

If you can't recreate it, he's probably right ^

agree, spirited turn and invoked the traction/stability control. completely normal.

i didnt know the ABS system makes that kind of noise?

no, it was a plain jane right turn on even/level flat asphalt...

thats why i found it so strange?

i was going prob 7mph, it was from a red light...

... 2nd gear grind possibly? Were you shifting?

The rear lsd. Mine will groan a bit, sometimes, on slow speed turn.
